Grant Funding

Many private and corporate foundations provide support through generous grants and endowments. We are very grateful for their contributions that allow Junior Achievement of South Florida to deliver state-of-the art, interactive programs to the youth of our community.

JA BizTown Educational Summer Camp

Our camp engages kids in a learn-by-doing, active process, leading up to employment in one of eighteen establishments within JA BizTown. Once employed, they take on the responsibilities of buying or creating products and services that are sold within the JA BizTown market. Campers participate in a number of instructional seminars and speaker presentations on topics such as managing bank accounts, identifying career interests, interviewing for jobs, making healthy choices, and supporting charitable causes. Offering these underserved children a weeklong educational summer camp program, providing a safe environment, and a nutritious meal, will only increase the chance for them to succeed.
